The Logan Elm High School softball team had reason to celebrate last night. The Braves scored a run in the top of first inning and were able to make it last to beat host Circleville 1-0. Brave Becca Lucas singled with one out, Kayla Martin doubled in order to move Lucas to third, and later came in to score on a single by Shea Manson. Kyla Pierce had her low pitches working, limiting the Tigers to just two hits in the first inning and held them without another for the remainder of the game. She also had six strikeouts for the game. Janie Waidelich and Alicia Nichols each added a hit for the Braves.
