Game Results
The Lady Braves played well this week. Their record this week was 3-3,
after beating Amanda on Monday, Circleville on Wednesday, and Northwestern on
Saturday. Their losses came to Bloom Carroll, Teays Valley, and Heath.
The MSL record is now 4-4 and the Braves are tied for third place in the
confrence and the overall record is 6-7.
Amanda (won 5-3), hitting were:

Housh: 1-4 w/ RBI

Chelsey recieved the loss and her record now is 3-2. Lacey Elliott came into relief in the first and pitched great, only giving up 3 runs in 4 and 2/3 innings.
Canal Winchester vs Logan Elm

Congratulations to the Lady Braves on their
victory over Canal last night. The braves won 6-3 and improved to 3-3 overall
and 2-1 in MSL. Lacey Elliott pitched all seven innings and the defense behind
her really played great. She helped herself out by hitting 2 homeruns and having
3RBI’s. The braves continued their hot hitting by pounding out 9 hits and only
giving up 5 errors. Excellent defense by Nikki Cordell in the 4th and the entire
outfield helped the team prevail. Hitting for the lady braves were:
Elliott: 2-4 w/ 2 homeruns (4,5th) 3RBI’s
Nichols: 2-3 w/ one run scored
Cordell: 2-3 w/ one run scored
Housh: 1-3 w/ one run scored, 2RBI

Hamilton Township vs Logan Elm

The Lady Braves beat Hamilton Township 10-0 and
improved their overall record to 2-3 and their MSL record to 1-1. Lacey Elliott
almost pitched a perfect game (which is no walks, hits, or errors). She gave up
the lone hit in the fifth inning and had 2 K’s.
The braves bats and gloves were outstanding and hitting for the braves were:
Elliott: 1-2 w/homerun (her 3rd), 2 RBI, 3 runs scored
Cordell: 2-2 w/ 2RBI and one run scored
Housh: 2 RBI, and one run scored

The Lady Braves lost to Mid State league rival,
Teays Valley, last night by a score of 3-2. The braves record now is 1-3 and 0-1
in the MSL. Lacey Elliott pitched all seven innings and had 7K’s and only gave
up 4 hits. Hitting for the lady braves were:
Nichols: 1-3 w/ 2runs scored
Cordell: 1-3
Housh: 1-3 w/ 2RBI
McDaniel: 1-3

Logan Elm @ Westfall

The Lady Braves improved their record to 1-2 by
beating Westfall last night by a score of 5-4. The braves battled back in the
last inning with a leadoff homerun by Lacey Elliot(her 2nd for the season)which
tied the game at 4-4. Alicia Nichols and Nikki Cordell singled and then Housh
walked to load the bases. Anderson hit a line shot back at the pitcher and she
made an errant throw trying to get Nichols at third. Lacey Elliott pitched the
entire game and only gave up 4 hits and had 11 K's.
