 This was such an exciting game and a come from win for us.  We had outstanding defensive plays from Kayla Martin and Nikki Grambo.  Leading the offense was Bekha Lucas going 2-4 with a double and a triple and 2RBI, Nikki Grambo with a double and a sacrifice fly to tie the game in the 7th.  Shae Manson was 1-3 with an RBI, Paige Gardner was 1-3 with two sacrifice bunts and Brittany Pontious was 1-3 with a double and an RBI.  Brittani Walters and Lindsay Brokaw both had singles.

 We came from behind in the top of the seventh with a leadoff triple by Bekha Lucas.  Grambo sacrificed Lucas in with a ball to shallow right to tie.  Shae got hit by a pitch and advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Paige Gardner.  Brittany Pontious hit Shae in for the go ahead run.

Tiffany Bise led the way defensively by allowing just four hits, no walks, and 4 strikeouts. This improves her record to 3-0 and our team record to 3-0.  The entire team played great defense and Taylor Saxton and Bekha Lucas played stellar defense as well.  Lucas, Saxton, Grambo, Shae Manson, and Walters each had a hit in the win.  Lucas hit a 2-run triple to score Walters, Grambo had a single to score Saxton, and Manson hit a double to score Grambo

Leading the way offensively tonight and collecting two hits for the Lady Braves were Brittany Pontious, Paige Gardner, and Brittani Walters. Pontious added a double and an RBI, Gardner added a triple and an RBI, and Tiffany Bise hit two runs in on a sacrifice fly.  Paige Gardner pitched 3 and 1/3 innings allowing just one run on 3 hits and Tiffany Bise pitched 3 and 2/3 innings without giving up a hit or a run and striking out 6 hitters.

Kayla Martin led the lady braves going 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored and 2RBI.  Brittani Walters was 2 for 3 with 3 runs scored and Lindsay Brokaw was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 runs scored with 1 RBI.  Tiffany Bise came in to relieve Paige Gardner in the 2nd inning and pitched 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 1 run and 2 hits.  Bise received the win.  The braves are now 1-0 and open up their league play with Amanda on Monday, April 5th.
