Overall
At The University of Findlay
during his junior and senior years, he won the Scholar-Athlete Award and
the GLIAC Commissioner’s Award for Academic and Athletic Excellence. He
made the Dean’s List every semester and was a Dana Scholar. Tyler was 2-
time Free Throw Percentage Leader, and achieved 905 points, 224
rebounds, 138 assists and 79 steals in his career at
Tyler is the son of Phil and Nancy Evans, and the brother of Jennifer
and Heather Evans. |

Dan is the 2010 recipient of the Logan Elm Athletic Hall of Fame Award
of Merit.
Dan is a 1969 graduate of Being able to
jump out of planes one day and not being able to jump out of bed the
next, meant learning a whole new way of life. With the encouragement of
his wife, Carol, and the help of the lifeguards at the Y, Dan learned to
swim. He has remained undefeated in the breast stroke at the Veteran
Games for the past 25 years. Dan was selected for the 1990 U.S.
Wheelchair Team, with whom he competed in Dan and his
wife, Carol have been married for 28 years. Their son, Jason, is a Dan is a most
dedicated supporter of Logan Elm Athletics, giving motivational talks to
our athletes and occupying a regular seat at most LE athletic contests. |

Alan Gabriel
is one of
While at Logan Elm Alan played
football for four years and earned three varsity letters and earned 1st
team SVC his Senior Year. Al played defense, offense and special teams
in high school which was common in the 1960’s. Al also played basketball
three years and earned a varsity letter. He played baseball four
years earning two varsity awards. Al was also a four year member of the
band and chorus. He graduated in 1967 with a 3.98GPA.
